Ao. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Herwig Ostermann

Herwig Ostermann is director of the Austrian National Public Health Institute and associate professor (part-time) at the Department for Public Health, Health Service Research and Health Technology Assessment at UMIT Tirol.

He studied international economics in Innsbruck and Dublin and holds a master’s and doctoral degree in Health Sciences from UMIT Tirol.

Ass.-Prof. Dr. Katharina T. Paul

Katharina T. Paul is Assistant Professor of Digital Health Governance at the Department of Political Science and the Research Platform DigiGov (University of Vienna). She was awarded START Prize by the FWF (Austrian Science Fund) in 2021 and is an expert on vaccination policy and data politics. 

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Forgó

Nikolaus Forgó is Professor of Technology and Intellectual Property Law and Director of the Institute for Innovation and Digitalisation in Law at the University of Vienna. Since 2018, he is a member of the Austrian Data Protection Council. Nikolaus Forgó is teaching, research, consulting and third-party funding activities on all issues of IT law, legal informatics and basic legal principles. In addition, he hosts of the podcast Ars Boni.
